The Opportunity   

The role of Process Digitalisation & Sustainability Engineer is to connect process improvement, sustainability and factory performance data. The role focuses on process mapping, digital improvement, production metrics, sustainability and continuous improvement across factory operations.

This role supports the AMF factory setup and DfMA delivery pathway, connecting product information, engineering, production data and manufacturing workflows. It should help ensure design and factory teams develop seamless transitions, standards and opportunities over the first 24 months of implementation. 

In this role, you will:   

• Map factory, engineering and production processes to clarify current and target ways of working.
• Identify opportunities for digital process improvement and workflow automation.
• Support sustainability and ESG initiatives related to production, materials, waste, energy and factory operations.
• Develop production metrics and reporting structures that help the team understand performance.
• Drive continuous improvement across factory operations, working with engineering, automation and production teams.
• Help translate process knowledge into digital workflows, data structures and standard operating approaches.
• Support integration between factory operations and the design/product platform teams.
• Capture improvement opportunities and help prioritise actions over the first 24 months of factory development.

What we are looking for   

• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline. 

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in commercial construction engineering working on DfMA projects modular construction projects. 
• Process engineering, industrial engineering, sustainability or manufacturing improvement background.
• Ability to map workflows, identify waste and support measurable improvements
• Good understanding of production metrics, operational reporting and continuous improvement methods.
• Comfortable working with digital systems, data and operational stakeholders.
•  Strong practical mindset and ability to turn broad improvement goals into clear actions.
