The Opportunity

As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for coordinating the technical and engineering aspects of project delivery, ensuring construction activities are delivered safely, efficiently, on programme and to Built's high standards of quality. Working closely with Project Managers, Senior Project Engineers, consultants and subcontractors, you will be a key link between design and construction.

Key responsibilities include:

• Coordinating RFIs, shop drawings, ITPs, technical submissions and engineering documentation.
• Driving collaboration between consultants, subcontractors and site teams to resolve design and construction challenges.
• Supporting procurement activities and ensuring critical materials and subcontractor packages are delivered in line with project requirements.
• Monitoring quality, compliance and safety outcomes through inspections, testing, reporting and proactive risk management.
• Supporting and mentoring Site Engineers, Graduates and Cadets while contributing to a positive team culture.

What We Are Looking For

We're looking for a proactive and solutions-focused Project Engineer who enjoys collaborating with others and taking ownership of delivering quality outcomes.

You will bring:

• A degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.
• 3+ years of experience delivering commercial construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, sequencing, buildability and quality assurance processes.
• Experience coordinating consultants, subcontractors and site teams across multiple work fronts.
• Well-developed communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Exposure to procurement, contract administration and cost control processes.
• Experience using project management and construction platforms such as Aconex, MS Project or Primavera.
• A strong commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement.
