The Opportunity

As a Site Engineer, you’ll be right at the heart of project delivery, working closely with the site and project teams to bring complex builds to life. This role offers hands‑on exposure across planning, coordination, quality, and safety, giving you the opportunity to build strong technical foundations while learning from experienced engineers and leaders. You’ll play a key part in keeping works on track—resolving technical queries, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring construction is delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the day‑to‑day delivery of construction works by coordinating trades, reviewing drawings, and monitoring onsite progress.
• Assist with site inspections, quality checks, and documentation to ensure works are delivered in line with specifications and standards.
• Manage and respond to RFIs and technical queries under the guidance of senior engineers, supporting buildability and sequencing outcomes.
• Coordinate materials, track deliveries, and liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to support program and logistics requirements.
• Promote a safe and compliant site by participating in safety inspections, pre‑starts, toolbox talks, and maintaining accurate site records.

What we are looking for

• Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a commercial construction environment, ideally on high‑value or complex projects.
• Working knowledge of construction drawings, sequencing, quality standards, and project systems (e.g. Aconex or similar).
