Our newly establish business Built Living is focused on the development and construction of end -to end medium to high density residential projects. Operating through an integrated model - design, development, construction, and future operations, we are championing modern methods of construction, utilising Design for Manufacture and Assembly (DfMA), to deliver efficient, sustainable, and high‑quality residential communities. 

Housing affordability is one of Australia’s most pressing social challenges. Built is committed to solving the impasse between rising construction costs and the delivery of housing. Our objective is to re‑tool the industry by developing scalable,  high‑rise dwellings using DfMA. With significant capital invested in research and development across Europe, we are bringing global best practice to Australia - developing what is possible in residential development and construction. 

The Opportunity

We are looking for a number of Site and Projects Engineers who share our passion embracing modern methods of construction and addressing the challenges housing affordability places on young Australians.

By joining Built Living you’ll play a key role in supporting the day-to-day delivery of projects — helping coordinate trades, solve technical challenges, and keep work moving safely, on time and to a high standard.

You’ll be working closely with Project Managers, Supervisors and subcontractors, gaining exposure across all stages of the build and building your confidence in a fast-paced site environment.

In these roles, you will:

• Support the coordination of site activities, ensuring trades and suppliers are aligned and progressing works
• Review drawings, manage technical queries, and help resolve issues on site
• Monitor progress and contribute to planning and sequencing of construction activities
• Carry out quality checks and support compliance with project specifications and safety standards
• Work closely with subcontractors and project teams to keep delivery on track

What We Are Looking For

We’re looking for Engineers who have built a solid foundation early in their career and are ready to take the next step — people who are motivated to learn from experienced leaders and step up into greater responsibility on site.

You will bring:

• A degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline
• Minimum of 2+ years’ experience in commercial construction
• A solid understanding of drawings, construction sequencing, and quality standards
• Strong organisation and communication skills, with the ability to work across teams
• A proactive, solution-focused mindset and attention to detail
• An eagerness to learn and take ownership in a site-based role
