The Opportunity

As the Senior Services Manager, you will be responsible for successfully managing and delivering the services design to brief / specification, onsite installation within time, cost and programme requirements.

Here’s what a typical day might look like for you:

• Attend design consultant meetings, organise and chair workshop meetings and familiarise yourself with drawings, specs and job documentation
• Liaise with contract administration to contribute to evaluation of tenders in the context of site service co-ordination requirements, scope of work and assessing value for money
• Input to program construction to ensure sequence of construction minimises conflict
• Arrange for all necessary documentation and manage the energising/de-energising of all services, along with necessary deliverables to be available prior to project completion
• Manage the timely provision of temporary services in areas of responsibility to ensure adequate and safe conditions are continuously maintained

This is a hands-on role that will see you involved in all facets of service delivery from services coordination, trades administration and management, tenders, programming through to onsite install.

What We Are Looking For

Your success here will be defined by the energy you bring to work every day. You’ll love what you do and have a “roll up your sleeves and get things done” approach. You won’t shy away from a challenge and will always own the problem, knowing you’ve got the full trust and support of the team. Here are the essentials you’ll need for this role:

• Previous experience as a services engineer / manager within the construction industry 
• Tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering; or
• Trade qualification and relevant industry experience
• Experience in the design and construction/installation of building services.

Your ability to show initiative, adapt to changing situations and your innovative mindset will hold you in good stead.
