The Opportunity
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of construction projects from conception through to completion, ensuring safety, quality, programme and commercial outcomes are achieved. Reporting to the Construction Manager and General Manager, you'll provide leadership across all phases of delivery, foster strong stakeholder relationships and ensure projects are completed safely, on time and within budget.
Key focus areas include:
Leading the delivery of complex construction and fitout projects across Canberra.
Managing project budgets, commercial performance, and programme outcomes.
Building strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Creating high-performing teams and fostering collaboration across disciplines.
Driving a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement throughout the project lifecycle.
What We Are Looking For
You are an experienced Project Manager with a track record of delivering complex construction projects and leading teams through every stage of the project lifecycle. A confident leader and strong communicator, you build trusted relationships, drive commercial outcomes and take pride in delivering high-quality work safely and successfully.
We're looking for:
Relevant tertiary qualifications in Building, Construction, Engineering or similar, or equivalent trade experience.
Proven experience delivering construction projects and leading project teams.
Strong commercial capability with experience in budgeting, cost control, and contract administration.
Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership capability.
A proactive approach to problem-solving, risk management, and project delivery.
A genuine commitment to safety, quality, and team success.
