The Opportunity

With strong growth across NSW, we're expanding our Quality team and looking for a Quality Engineer to support our projects. Reporting to the Quality Manager, you'll partner closely with Project Managers, Engineers and site teams to embed quality into every stage of delivery.

In this role, you will:

• Support project teams to implement and maintain Built's Quality Management System.
• Conduct site-based inspections, including pre-pour and critical hold point inspections, ensuring quality is built into the product and process.
• Coach and support Engineers and Supervisors to deliver effective inspections and strong quality outcomes.
• Drive quality risk management, non-conformance close out and continuous improvement initiatives across your projects.
• Conduct audits, identify opportunities for improvement and help project teams deliver work to the highest standard.

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for someone who enjoys being out on site, inspecting work, engaging with delivery teams and ensuring quality standards are achieved from project start-up through to completion.

You'll bring:

• Experience within the building construction industry.
• A sound understanding of construction methodology and how quality is achieved on site.
• The confidence to undertake inspections, identify issues and work collaboratively towards solutions.
• Strong attention to detail combined with a practical, problem-solving mindset.
• Knowledge of the National Construction Code, Australian Standards and quality management principles.
• Curiosity, a willingness to learn and the ability to influence project teams through coaching and support.
• Experience with quality management platforms such as Aconex, Smartsheets or similar is beneficial.
