An opportunity, Built for you

As the People & Culture Business Partner at Built you will be responsible for streamlining P&C practices, reporting on people metrics, leading initiatives that foster a positive workplace culture whilst providing strategic guidance to support the business objectives.

This role will be based in our Newstead, QLD office and will support our QLD Built business unit as well as our Mayneline Joinery subsidiary company.

Here’s what a typical day might look like for you:

Leadership Team Guidance and Support

  • Provide leadership team with guidance on people related matters including resourcing, capability development, engagement and rightsizing.
  • Support the design and deployment of people related initiatives that support the achievement of business units objectives.
  • Support the development of the leadership team’s people management capabilities.

Annual People Processes

  •  Facilitate the national annual people processes including annual performance reviews and goal setting, remuneration reviews, engagement survey deployment and feedback and annual benefit offerings such as skin checks and flu vaccinations.

Information Management

  • Prepare and present regular people trends and analysis to provide insights to local employee experiences and engagement.
  • Create and issue all documents associated with the employee lifecycle such as employment contracts, contract variations, terminations letters and performance letters

Employee Relations

  • Provide accurate and relevant advice to leadership team on all employment relations matters including performance management, terminations & redundancies.
  • Ensure all documentation in ER matters is legally compliant and in accordance with best practice.
  • Interpret EBA agreements terms and conditions for all relevant states.

  • Relevant tertiary qualification
  • Solid experience in a similar role within a client focused/ service-based organisation.
  • Demonstrated strategic development of people programs and initiatives.
  • Exposure in dealing with both white- and blue-collar workforces in a fast-paced project environment.

Your ability to contribute to the team, build strong stakeholder relationships and thrive in a busy Built environment will see your success in this role.
