An outstanding opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Senior Contracts Administrator who is seeking a long career with one of Australia’s leading builders and hoping to be promoted to Contracts Manager within 3 years. We are extremely busy on numerous prestigious projects in the Sydney CBD and Western Sydney valued between $100M - $800M and the need for top class individuals is immediate.

 

Reporting to the Project Manager, the successful candidate will initially be responsible for managing, coordinating, reporting on, and advising on the commercial aspects of a $500 million+ commercial project in Western Sydney, whilst ensuring effective and consistent administration of all project contractual relationships.

 

This role will also be responsible for advising and instructing the project team members on compliance with commercial requirements set out in the head contract, subcontracts, consultant and supply agreements, quality management systems, policies, guidelines and project specific procedures.

 

The ideal candidate will:

  • Possess a relevant degree and 5 years’ experience in the Sydney building sector
  • Ideally have a CA/QS background
  • Have extensive experience managing head and subcontracts on large-scale projects preferably in CBD locations
  • Be quality focused and have the ability to assess risk
  • Be able to show longevity with past employers and exemplary references
