Reporting to the Site / Project Manager, the purpose of the Structures Foreperson is:

• To provide a highly organised site delivery co-ordination whilst achieving quality, time, OHS and industrial relations requirements
• Supervise construction work during installation, inspection, testing and commissioning, and ensure that work is completed in accordance with drawings and specifications
• To minimise cost and manage preliminaries within cost budget
• Subcontractor /supplier management, staff management

You won’t shy away from a challenge and will always own the problem, knowing you’ve got the full support of the team. Here are the essentials you’ll need for this role:

• Experience working in a Tier 1 construction company, with large project experience ($100m plus)
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar structures role 
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Building, Construction or Engineering or trade qualified
• A leader who demonstrates a strong team-work ethic
• Appropriate OHS qualifications
• Strong people management skills
