As the IT Service Support at Built you will provide hardware and software support to our white-collar workforce, including resolving tickets, onboarding and offboarding of staff. You will manage, track and resolve user related issues covering all aspects of the Built IT environment. Working in our Newstead office, you will have full support and training from our Senior IT Service Support consultant. Built is an 100% Australian and privately owned construction company, offering a total solution built-forms, sectors and sizes- commercial construction, fit-out and refurb. 

 

Here’s what a typical day might look like for you

  • Respond to and resolve service desk tickets; e.g. onboarding & offboarding of staff, general IT queries
  • Participate in routine daily checks to ensure infrastructure stability is maintained
  • Provide direct support to staff via phone, email, instant messaging or any defined communication method
  • Setup mobile devices and transfer mobile services to our account
  • Assist in the deployment and setup of computer images
  • Prepare and push out new software to computers as required by project sites/users
  • Salvage and repair laptops (including but not limited to, screen replacement, keyboards, internal batteries)
  • Installation, configuration and maintenance of printers

Here are the essentials you’ll need for this role:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology, Computer Science or relevant field 
  • Experience working in a similar IT service support role onboarding and offboarding of new and old staff is a must have.
  • Ability to work autonomously and diagnose and troubleshoot basic technical issues
  • Typical Skills Required: Laptop Imaging, Intune, Autopilot, O365, MS AD, Azure Basics, Windows Support, VIP Support, Printer Management, Apple IPhone, Video Conferencing, Service Now, etc.
  • Desirable: Knowledge of Autodesk, AutoCAD, Aconex products etc
