An opportunity, Built for you

A Senior Project Manager at Built, is responsible for the strategic leadership and successful delivery of complex or multiple construction projects, ensuring they meet quality, safety, cost, and schedule objectives. This role requires advanced stakeholder engagement, risk management, and the optimisation of project processes to drive performance and profitability. Here’s what a typical day might look like for you:

  • Oversee the successful execution of complex or multiple construction projects, ensuring alignment with project documentation and achieving quality, safety, and budgetary objectives.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to project teams, promoting high performance and professional development.
  • Identify and mitigate complex project risks, ensuring strict compliance with all regulatory and contractual obligations.
  • Cultivate and manage relationships with key stakeholders, including clients and industry partners, fostering trust and collaboration at a strategic level.
  • Oversee and optimise the financial performance of projects, including comprehensive budget tracking and management of project variations to enhance profitability.

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Building, Construction, Engineering or equivalent trade experience
  • Minimum 7 years’ experience as a Project Manager or equivalent role within construction
  • Experience managing teams and working on high value, highly complex projects
  • Extensive knowledge of contract management, procurement and financial control including cost management, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Strong commercial acumen and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities
