An opportunity, Built for you

As the Senior Financial Accountant, you will support the financial control and shared service teams in ensuring the integrity, accuracy and completeness of financial records. From compliance with Indirect tax legislation to relevant construction industry compliance requirements

Here’s what a typical day might look like for you:

  • Corporate Month End
    - Processing/ reviewing corporate recharges & relevant month end journal entries
    - Assisting the UK end to end accounting & reporting
    - Review of payroll provisions

  • Compliance
    - FBT (multi-jurisdictional)
    - Payroll Tax
    - Workers Compensation
    - BAS and VAT returns
    - QBCC Project Trust and Retention accounting
    - Payment times reporting
    - Taxable payments reporting

You will thrive in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with the Shared Services Manager & Financial Controller in project related items, including testing of financial controls across the group.

  • CPA/CA qualified (at least 2 years post qualified)
  • Experience in indirect taxes (GST, FBT, Payroll taxes) either working on clients or from a large complex business
  • Experience in performing and reviewing balance sheet reconciliation
  • Hands-on, can-do attitude & continuous improvement mindset

This role will suit a professional who is happy to roll up their sleeves, manage competing demands coupled with your willingness to learn will hold you in good stead.
