At Built, we have been investing in this shift through the development of Built In - our platform and operating model designed to embed digital across the full project lifecycle, improving productivity, reducing risk, and delivering stronger commercial outcomes.
Following a successful beta rollout, we are now scaling Built In and building the team to take it from early traction to category-defining.
The Opportunity
As Head of Product - Built In, you will play a critical role in driving the adoption and scale of Built In across the business. This role sits just below the C-suite and operates at the intersection of product, delivery, and commercial performance.
This is not a traditional product role. It requires someone who can build, shape and scale a product in a live delivery environment, where success is defined by adoption, usage and impact - not just release.
In this role, you will:
- Own the product vision, strategy and roadmap, anchored to commercial outcomes
- Drive adoption of Built In across bids, projects and delivery teams nationally
- Translate complex project and delivery challenges into simple, usable product solutions
- Work directly with project teams, bid teams and clients to ensure real-world usage
- Partner with Engineering, Data, AI and Design to deliver work that is used, not just shipped
- Establish clear metrics for adoption, usage and business impact
- Build scalable workflows and product capability as the platform evolves
- Turn ambiguity into clarity, creating structure, priorities and forward momentum
What we are looking for
There is no single background that defines success in this role. You may come from enterprise SaaS, platforms, proptech, or workflow-led product environments - what matters most is your ability to drive adoption, operate in ambiguity, and build products that people actually use.
- 15+ years’ experience in senior product leadership
- Proven experience taking products from early signal to product–market fit and scale
- Exposure to AI-enabled or data-driven products
- Strong commercial instinct with the ability to link product decisions to margin, productivity and risk
- Ability to operate at an executive level while staying close to the work
- Track record of delivering adoption in complex, stakeholder-heavy environments
- Comfortable working in a “startup within a business” environment
- Resilient, pragmatic and able to navigate ambiguity and competing priorities
- Strong influencing skills, able to drive change without relying on hierarchy
