An opportunity, Built for you

The Document Controller is responsible for managing, organising and distributing project documentation under the direction of the design and delivery teams with the aim of completing the project on time, within budget. Working in our defence team (*Baseline Security is required for this role), we are looking for a temp for a 6-week period with the potential for the role to become permanent.

Working closely with:

• The Design Management Team to implement document control and design change management protocols
• Senior Contract Administrator to assist in the subcontract and head contract administration of the project
• The Senior Project Manager to manage all Practical Completion documentation

Here’s what a typical day might look like for you:

• Assist in the implementation of the site HSE Plan where required
• Issue prestart compliance forms, SWMS checklist as required and close out
• Collect valid certificates of currency each month - Insurances & Declarations, consultants design certification forms
• Ensure all HSE related documentation is issued and updated to all project stakeholders as necessary
• Assist the ESD lead, compiling the necessary submission documentation and site records for the Green Star project deliverables
• Management of Fieldwire, ensuring accuracy and accessibility of current documentation on the platform • Assist the BIM Manager in the management and distribution of documentation and files relating to the BIM project deliverable

Here are the essentials you’ll need for this role:

• ESSENTIAL: Baseline Security Clearance (*Candidates for this role must be Australian Citizens, due to Defence sector)
• Available to start immediately (beneficial for temp role; candidates with a notice period will also be considered for a permanent role)
• Related work experience in a similar role on major projects
• Experience within the defence industry
• Highly proficient in Aconex, Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Ability to distinguish between confidential and non-confidential matters
• Demonstrated reliability in meeting deadlines and commitments, with an ability to set realistic goals, problem-solve and establish work priorities
