An opportunity, Built for you

As the Development Analyst at Built you will support property acquisition and development strategies by conducting in-depth market analysis, building financial feasibility models, and maintaining accurate data records.

Here’s what a typical day might look like for you:

  • Conduct in-depth research into market trends, economic indicators, zoning and planning requirements, and competitor activity to inform property acquisition and development strategies
  • Analyse and maintain accurate property-specific data to support market intelligence
  • Develop, maintain, and update financial feasibility models for acquisitions and development projects
  • Support fund-level modelling and perform option testing for the next existing pipeline and acquisition bid proposals
  • Assist with all phases of property and development projects, including research, due diligence, acquisition and option testing of pipeline projects
  • Prepare and assist in delivering presentations to senior management, development partners, investors, and other stakeholders

This will be a hands-on role that will see you developing strong working relationships with internal stakeholders, joint venture partners, external parties and investors.

  • Degree qualified in Property Economics, Real Estate, Valuation, Urban Development, or related fields;
  • Strong financial modelling and analysis skills, using Excel and EstateMaster;
  • Ability to conduct in-depth research, interpret results, and provide actionable insights to support decision-making;
  • Attention to detail, critical thinking abilities, and proficiency in maintaining accurate data records;
  • Solid presentation skills – ability to present analytics to relevant stakeholders on a regular basis.   

You will have a passion for property and urban development, with an eagerness to learn and grow in the industry.
