An opportunity, Built for you

As the Design Coordinator you will be responsible for assisting in the management of the design process to ensure that project design is developed in accordance with all project requirements including feasibility / contract revenue and cost outcomes, scope, technical and statutory requirements while in line with programme constraints.

Here’s what a typical day might look like for you:

• Management of Project Documentation

- Processing and managing design RFI’s and Design Change Requests (DCRs).
- Maintaining project control documentation;
- Updating project trackers, design deliverable registers
- Coordinating documentation for design change approval
- Tracking progress of comments on design packages from reviewers

• Assist the Design Management Team with the Design Process

-Client interface for project briefing, capture of project scope, preparation of PPR documents
- Development of design packages and resolution of RFIs
- Review of consultant documentation, producing mark-ups, queries, etc. for design resolution
- Ensure design documents produced by designers or consultants are reviewed for quality and project parameters / conditions requiring specific technical responses or signoff.
- Development, and tracking, of the design elements and delivery influencing the project cost; in association with cost/estimating team.

• Demonstrated ability to apply design management skills across a range of projects.
• Relevant qualifications and / or experience in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management.
• Experience managing design deliverables and coordinating with other designers or consultants.
• Document Control and BI project documentation coordination and delivery experience
• Knowledge of REVIT, AutoCAD or similar program (ideal)
