An opportunity, Built for you

As the Contract Administrator at Built you will provide leadership, guidance, and influence through the full life cycle of the project from administrative and financial procedures and controls to procurement and costing.

This role will be based in the Mount Barker region initially working on large scale landmark project, with the view to continue working on future projects in Adelaide CBD (and surrounds).

Here’s what a typical day might look like for you:

  • Assist with the setup of the project including Head Contract Admin Guide, prepare and monitor procurement program and prepare trade package tender documentation
  • Management of subcontractor procurement
  • Administration of the head contract and downstream agreements
  • Preparation of Subcontractor agreement including standard and special conditions and resources to specific trades
  • Responsibility for project completion documentation and assist in compiling ‘as-built’ documentation and Operation and Maintenance manuals
  • Preparation of cost control procedures and assist with monthly cost reports and forecasting of preliminaries and trade costs

  • Experience in contract administration practices and solid experience in a similar role
  • Tertiary qualifications in quantity surveying, construction management, construction law or other relevant discipline
  • Exposure to managing contracts within large project environments
  • Strong level of commercial acumen coupled with an ability to demonstrate a commitment to safety, teamwork and building strong relationships
