An opportunity, Built for you

As the Site Supervisor at Built in our QLD team you will supervise construction work during installation, inspection, testing and commissioning, and ensure that work is completed in accordance with drawings and specifications.

Here’s what a typical day might look like for you:

  • Ensuring that all work is carried out in accordance with codes, standards, and specifications, along with ensuring appropriate work procedures are implemented
  • Staff management – Direct, manage and guide Built direct workforce on site, ensure appropriate information including variations, disputes and other contractual matters are fed back to the Site Manager/ Project Manager, identify any training needs of construction workers, direct and manager subcontractors on site, coordinate subcontracts/ suppliers in advance on their work site etc.
  • Coordinate materials handling requirements in conjunction with building management
  • Manage preliminary costs and attend programme and site meetings (as required)
  • Analyse dimension shows on plans, details and survey drawings and check for discrepancies and determine dimensions which cannot be varied

  • Related trade or tertiary qualifications
  • Experience in a similar role within the construction industry
  • Ability to use your initiative, prioritise, strong attention to detail, positive approach to work and can encourage their team mates to delivery a quality outcome
