An opportunity, built for you

As the Services Project Engineer, you will assist the services design to brief / specification, onsite installation within time, cost and programme requirements.

You will perform overall technical coordination of the construction process, in conjunction with senior project management teams through the coordination and documentation of design and programme requirements   

Here’s what a typical day might look like for you:

• Attend design consultant meetings, organise and chair workshop meetings and familiarise yourself with drawings, specs and job documentation
• Liaise with contract administration to contribute to evaluation of tenders in the context of site service co-ordination requirements, scope of work and assessing value for money
• Managing subcontract conditions (as applicable) including responsibility for timely procurement of trades.
• Prepare applicable cost reports (with the CA)
• Arrange for all necessary documentation and manage the energising/de-energising of all services, along with necessary deliverables to be available prior to project completion
• Manage the timely provision of temporary services in areas of responsibility

This is a hands-on role that will see you involved in all facets of service delivery from services coordination, trades administration and management, tenders, programming through to onsite install. You will provide a link between design, building services and sub-contractors to ensure project objectives are met

• Previous experience as a services engineer within the construction industry 
• Tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering; or
• Trade qualification and relevant industry experience
• Experience in the design and construction/installation of building services.
