The Opportunity
- Lead the successful delivery of building services across complex projects, ensuring all systems are designed, coordinated, and installed to meet time, cost, quality, and program requirements.
- Shape project outcomes by driving technical excellence, influencing design solutions, and ensuring seamless integration of all mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, fire, and other essential building services.
- Develop and uplift the capability of engineers, cadets, and graduates, directly contributing to a high‑performing and future‑ready project team.
- Act as a key connector across internal and external stakeholders—from subcontractors and consultants to authorities and clients—strengthening relationships that impact project success.
- Drive services coordination and design development, resolving technical issues early and ensuring efficient, conflict‑free installation on site.
- Oversee trades administration and subcontractor performance, ensuring compliance, safety, quality, and alignment with project objectives.
- Manage programming and commissioning activities, ensuring systems are delivered, tested, certified, and handed over on time.
- Ensure regulatory compliance and strong safety performance, upholding Built’s standards and leading continuous improvement in safety practices
- Support procurement and variation evaluation, ensuring scope clarity, accurate assessment of changes, and seamless project delivery.
What we are looking for
- Relevant services trade qualification or tertiary degree in Building, Construction, or Engineering, with 10–15+ years’ experience in Tier 1 or Tier 2 services management roles.
- Strong capability in services design, coordination, and onsite delivery, including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, fire, and other core building systems.
- Proven experience managing subcontractor performance, variations, procurement, and technical documentation across complex projects.
- High-level technical competency in commissioning, compliance, safety leadership, and the application of building codes and standards.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with proficiency in MS Office and MS Project.
