An opportunity, Built for you

A Project Engineer at Built, is responsible for coordinating the technical and administrative aspects of construction project delivery. Working under the guidance of the Project Manager, the Project Engineer plays a pivotal role in aligning engineering deliverables with design intent, program timelines, and project objectives.

Here’s what a typical day might look like for you:

• Manage daily engineering functions on site, support technical coordination, and provide input into planning and procurement.
• Oversee project documentation, assist with subcontractor engagement, and drive construction quality through inspections and reporting.
• Work closely with engineers, other consultants and subcontractors to resolve design issues, manage technical queries, and ensure construction activities are delivered as specified.
• Contribute to mentoring junior team members.

• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in commercial construction engineering working on high value projects
• Solid understanding of construction drawings, sequencing, buildability, and quality assurance processes.
• Ability to manage multiple work fronts and interface with consultants, site teams, and suppliers.
• Understanding of procurement processes, cost control and contract administration
