An opportunity, Built for you

As the Project Engineer at Built you will manage, control, and deliver projects on and off site, within time, quality, cost parameters and stakeholder relationships.

You will perform overall technical coordination of the construction process, in conjunction with senior project management teams through the coordination and documentation of design and programme requirements   

Here’s what a typical day might look like for you:

  • Prepare applicable cost reports (with the CA)
  • Design management and review of design against the project budget
  • Managing subcontract conditions (as applicable) including responsibility for timely procurement of trades.
  • Assist in managing and statusing the target programmes and issue programme reports to Senior Project Engineer or Project Manager (as required)
  • Identify & acquire project resources (as required)
  • Support Senior Project Engineer / Project Manager in determining project specific risks, goals, and opportunities
  • Staff management – toolbox meetings, identify training needs of staff, delegating, mentoring, guidance around HSE guidelines and Quality

This is a Part Time position, ideally 3 days per week, but negotiable to discuss.

  • Ability to facilitate change and make decisions
  • Demonstrates ability to delegate, mentor and encourage the team to achieve its goals
  • Tertiary Qualifications in Building/Construction Management or Civil Engineering
  • Solid experience working within the building and construction industry in roles precedent to Project Engineer
