An opportunity, Built for you

As the HSE Coordinator at Built you will assist the project teams in the implementation of the company’s HSE Plan, policies and procedures at the project level, ensuring our internal and external audit requirements ae met.

Here’s what a typical day might look like for you:

  • Aid project teams in the improvement of their HSE performance, whilst training and coaching of staff on company policies, procedures, and systems.
  • Review and monitor key project performance indicators for HSE.
  • Assist with the company’s internal audit program in relation to HSE including reviewing audit reports and the closure of corrective actions.
  • Attending client and external meetings, audits, and inspections as required.
  • Assisting with the investigation of significant incidents, making recommendations, and implementing corrective actions, including monitoring the closure of corrective actions.

This role will see you collaborate with broader project teams, as such you will be a strategic thinker and can comprehend the required policies and procedures to ensure the projects have sufficient training and guidance necessary to meet HSE Plan requirements on the project.

  • Minimum two to three (2-3) years’ work experience in an HSE role within the Building and Construction or related industry
  • Certificate IV OHS Management
  • Exposure to the HSE accreditation process
  • OFSC & AS/NZS4801 experience
  • Willingness to mentor project staff in the preparation and implementation of a HSE Plan
