The Opportunity

As an HSE Advisor, you’ll play a key role in supporting Built’s project teams to deliver safe, compliant and high-performing construction sites across WA. This role will primarily focus on a major project in Mandurah, where you will be predominantly site‑based and working closely with project teams and the broader HSE function to embed Built’s safety systems and behaviours.

Day to day, you will:

• Support multiple project teams to implement and maintain effective HSE plans aligned to Built’s HSE Management System
• Actively influence site safety culture by coaching, advising and driving positive HSE behaviours
• Monitor and analyse safety performance, milestones and KPIs, ensuring risks are identified early and controlled effectively
• Support incident reporting and investigations, helping teams understand root causes and implement meaningful corrective actions
• Contribute to audits, training and continuous improvement initiatives that lift HSE standards across the business
• Success in this role looks like safer sites, engaged project teams, and HSE systems that are understood, applied and continuously improved.
  
  

What we are looking for

We’re looking for a proactive HSE professional who enjoys being visible, engaged and hands-on in the delivery environment.

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in an HSE role within construction or a related industry
• Certificate IV in Workplace Health & Safety (or equivalent)
• Sound understanding of HSE legislation, compliance obligations and construction project environments
• Experience with incident reporting and investigation methodologies (eg. ICAM or similar)
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build trusted relationships with site and leadership teams
